Tae Kwon Do
Tae kwon do is a popular Vaughan martial art that combines strict discipline with full contact fighting. While using the whole body to focus on flowing form and linear movement methods, punching, jumping kicks, blocks and dodges are applied in each battle. The sport was modernised in the mid 90’s to be practiced conventionally, but still keeps its philosophical systems intact. There are eleven commandments that were developed along with tae kwon do that are strongly followed today.
